New Translation of the Roman Missal

On the first Sunday of Advent this year (November 27, 2011), the Church in the United States implemented a revised English translation of the Roman Missal. While the structure and order of the Mass will remain the same, many of the prayers and responses of the Liturgy have been newly translated into English from the original Latin text, resulting in many wording changes throughout the Mass. The new, more precise translation provides a better sense of the richness of the Latin text and will preserve more fully the theological tradition captured throughout the centuries in the Liturgy.

The specific wording changes resulting from the new translation may be found here. Parts of the Mass

    Holy Hour of Eucharistic Adoration
Corpus Christi Mission will now include Holy Hour of Eucharistic Adoration before each weekday Mass. This will allow us to deepen knowledge and love, and to listen quietly before our Eucaharistic Lord, present Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity in the Most Blessed Sacrament. Perhaps you could pick one day a month or week to spend some extra time with Our Lord.
